Overview
Entering Valle dei Templi is like leaping 2500 years back in time. Far in the distance, you can see the sun glistening on the deep blue waves. But what catches the eye the most are the imposing temples, some of the last remnants of an ancient civilization. Although you can see how time has taken its toll, the structures are incredibly well preserved. You do not need a lot of imagination to see the lively energy and cultural significance this place once had. Photography is a beautiful tool to connect people with this today. The temples in Agrigento were built by the Greeks. Today, they belong to Italy, and people from all over the world come to visit every day.

Our group is as multicultural as Valle dei Templi. We wanted to combine our different backgrounds to find interesting perspectives to capture in our photos. Our mission was to engage our imagination and envision the stories these ruins once told. This project is all about connections: the connection between old and new, between contrast and colour, and between us and our diverse cultures.
